OCDSB Registered Early Childhood Educator

Join the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board as a Registered Early Childhood Educator, dedicated to fostering early childhood development through dynamic play-based learning. This role focuses on enriching the educational experience for young students.

In this term position, you will work alongside teachers to implement effective educational strategies in a full-day Early Learning Program for Junior and Senior Kindergarten. You will also oversee extended programs, engaging with students before and after school to promote their educational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, play-based education in class

• Support extended learning through before and after-school programs

• Collaborate daily with classroom teachers

• Address diverse student needs in a multicultural setting

• Maintain effective communication with families and staff

Requirements:

• Completion of a relevant Early Childhood Education program

• Good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators

• At least one year of childcare experience

• Valid First Aid certification/CPR

• Recent Police Records Check for Vulnerable Sector
