Part-Time Math Teacher/Tutor – Oxford Learning Montreal DDO

• Location:
  
  Dollard‑des‑Ormeaux, Quebec (Applicants must reside in or within a short commute of the DDO area)
• Employment type:
  
  Part‑time (after‑school 4:00 pm–8:00 pm, Saturdays 9:00 am–1:00 pm)
• In‑person role (please be able to commute; no online option or relocation packages)
• Vulnerable sector screening mandatory
• Commitment until the end of the term in June (continuing through summer is preferred)

• CEGEP or Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field (teaching certification an asset)
• Good knowledge of the current Grades 7 to 11 math curriculum, especially senior math (advanced functions, algebra, trigonometry, calculus, vectors)
• Experience teaching/tutoring math at a Grade 7–11 level
• Strong English written and oral communication skills
• Strong math skills and ability to guide students’ understanding
• Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time

• Teach up to three students at a time, across different levels
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
• Fill in post‑lesson notes and complete daily student communication updates
• Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times
• Work as an Interactive Coach, guiding students’ understanding and confidence
