Location: Montreal
Become a key player in the Student Development department in New Capital as a full-time Student Counselor focused on student success and well-being. This position requires a skilled professional ready to support student academic and personal growth.
You will deliver comprehensive counseling services, conduct assessments, and implement outreach programs promoting mental health awareness.
Your role will involve supervising junior psychologists and collaborating with various stakeholders to address student challenges effectively. This is an opportunity to apply your expertise in an academic setting while making a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct individual counseling sessions for students
• Consult with faculty about student concerns
• Create and implement student well-being programs
• Develop assessments to guide counseling practices
• Plan workshops and events for student engagement
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in counseling or social work
• 3-5 years of experience in higher education
• Knowledge of student development and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Skill in working with diverse populations
