Engaging Karate Instructor at Kells Academy

Laurus is recruiting a passionate Karate Instructor to guide young learners at Kells Academy in NDG, Montreal. Teach karate fundamentals to students from Kindergarten to Grade 4 every Thursday.

Over a 9-week period, this after-school program focuses on introducing children to karate in a supportive and enjoyable environment. The instructor will help students develop essential skills while maintaining a fun atmosphere through structured classes and engaging activities tailored to varying age groups and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a one-hour structured karate class weekly

• Teach basic techniques and coordination exercises

• Adapt lessons for different ages and experience levels

• Incorporate games and fun activities into lessons

• Promote respect, discipline, and teamwork values

Requirements:

• Proven experience in karate or related martial arts

• Background in working with young children preferred

• Excellent communication and group management skills

• Energetic and patient demeanor while teaching

• Certification in teaching or martial arts is a benefit
