Explores current research and theories related to language and literacy development, learning and teaching. Opportunities for cultivating techniques for aligning language arts pedagogy, curriculum, instruction and assessment will be provided.

** 1.Experience as a master teacher/instructor in k/elementary Language Arts:
* QEP English Language Arts program & competencies for K/ elementary grades (i.e. LES
-designing, planning, assessment for ELA throughout K/Elementary grades)
* Critical multi- literacy approaches for Language Arts in K/elementary grades  
** Other:
*** Previous successful experience teaching similar course(s) at the undergraduate or graduate level
* Knowledge of the impact and proven record integrating pedagogical approaches anchored to equity, diversity and inclusion
* Familiarity using my Courses, ZOOM and other similar online platforms to facilitate quality teaching and learning experiences
* Familiarity teaching blended classes is an asset
* Familiarity with the application of a variety of digital teaching and learning tools
