Location: Montreal
Join St. Jude C.S. as an FSL teacher starting October 22, 2026, for a long-term assignment. This position calls for native-like fluency and relevant teaching qualifications.
The 1.0 FTE FSL LTO position is aimed at filling an existing vacancy. Successful candidates must hold certification from the Ontario College of Teachers and meet Primary, Junior, or Intermediate Basic Qualifications. The role emphasizes fostering an inclusive educational atmosphere catering to all student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct students in French as a Second Language
• Encourage a culture of inclusivity among students
• Design and execute lesson plans tailored to diverse learners
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery
• Monitor and report on student academic progress
Requirements:
• Certification in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
• Primary/Junior/Intermediate Basic Qualifications
• French as a Second Language, Part 1 certification
• Native-like fluency in French
• Proven teaching background in FSL
