Embark on a fulfilling teaching journey as a K4 Educator at Christmas Park. This role requires building nurturing relationships with children while supporting their development through engaging activities.
Christmas Park is seeking a K4 Educator who holds a Secondary School Diploma and relevant Early Childhood Education credentials. Ideally, you have four years of experience working with young children, including those with special needs. The role emphasizes multitasking, organization, and effective communication with families while ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and organize engaging activities for 4-year-olds
• Assist the teacher in daily classroom operations
• Supervise children during transitions and meal times
• Foster positive relationships and maintain safety standards
• Contribute to individual educational plans for children with special needs
Requirements:
• Secondary School Diploma and ECE certification or equivalent
• Fluent in French and English
• Four years' experience supervising children
• First aid certification within three years
• Knowledge of social emotional learning is an asset
