Support data science education at McGill University through course organization, interactive labs, and student conceptual clarification. The appointment is in person.
This Teaching Assistant supports Real World Applications of Data Science and Informatics, EXMD 601. The work includes my Courses organization, interactive lab sessions, midterm grading, and final presentation grading. Strong communication and relevant programming, machine learning, or health informatics experience are valued.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize course materials on my Courses
- Assist with interactive laboratory sessions
- Grade the midterm assessment
- Assist with grading in-person final presentations
- Clarify concepts and communicate student confusion
- Current McGill master's or doctoral student
- English proficiency required; written French is an asset
- Eligibility to work in Canada
- Programming, machine learning, or health informatics experience
- Good communication skills
