Teach Economics on Dawson College’s city-center campus while supporting students in a multicultural learning environment. Apply for temporary teaching opportunities identified during the six-month candidate pool period.
This Economics candidate pool supports pre-screening for temporary employment opportunities that arise. The role includes regular teaching responsibilities alongside departmental participation, pedagogical involvement, and student-focused activities. A Master’s degree in Economics or equivalent is required, with English communication skills essential for teaching and college engagement.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver regular Economics teaching responsibilities
- Participate in pedagogical days organized by Dawson College
- Attend departmental meetings and contribute to department activities
- Support field trips, competitions, and Graduate Exhibition activities
- Perform department-related administrative duties
- Master’s degree in Economics or equivalent
- Knowledge of social science research methods strongly recommended
- College-level teaching experience considered an asset
- Excellent English communication skills essential
- General knowledge of French considered an asset
