Deliver PSW and HSW education as a Clinical Educator with Para Med, using presentation skills and clinical expertise across the district.
Reporting to the Care and Service Manager, you will lead orientation curriculum for Home Support Workers and Personal Support Workers. You will deliver classroom, laboratory, and in-service education across business lines. Your work supports safe, quality care through client-centered training and current practice knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver HSW and PSW orientation to qualified applicants
- Teach course curriculum in classrooms and laboratories
- Evaluate student progress and assigned course work
- Provide annual refreshers on classroom-trained skills
- Champion Para Med policies through staff education
- Registered Practical Nurse registration in good standing
- At least three years in adult education
- Community nursing experience preferred
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and critical-thinking skills
- Valid driver’s licence, vehicle, and district travel availability
