Support History Criminological Thoughts at the University of Ottawa through discussion groups, exam proctoring, and marking. This is in-person work in English.
This Teaching Assistant position serves CRM
1301 during the 2027 Winter Semester. The work involves supporting students through discussions, grading papers and exams, office hours, and examination supervision. The supervisor is Emma Weir, with one position available and 117 total work hours.
- Facilitate discussion groups for enrolled students
- Mark papers and examinations
- Hold office hours for student consultations
- Proctor examinations as assigned
- Attend lectures when requested by the supervisor
- Bachelor of Arts Honours in Criminology or equivalent
- Meet deadlines established by the supervisor
- Commit to the suggested work schedule
- Be available to attend requested course lectures
- Complete mandatory legislated University training
