Early Childhood Educator Supply Teacher

Bring early learning expertise to Durham District School Board classrooms as a Supply Early Childhood Educator supporting children across Brock, Scugog, and Uxbridge.

This supply role partners with classroom teachers under the Principal’s guidance to plan and implement full-day learning. You will supervise extended day programming as required and collaborate on supportive learning environments. The work requires sensitive communication with children, parents, staff, and the public.

• Collaborate with teachers on full-day learning program delivery
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational programs
• Create environments supporting children’s social and emotional growth
• Provide assistance during dressing, toileting, and lunchtime activities
• Move equipment and physically assist children when required

• Early Childhood Education Diploma from a two-year community college
• College of Early Childhood Educators registration
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow procedures
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, crouch, and reach
