Location: Ahuntsic North
Support Intervention with Aging Populations as a Teaching Assistant at Main Campus, using discussion facilitation and academic assessment skills. The assignment is in person.
The University of Ottawa seeks two Teaching Assistants for GRT 2102, Section A00, in the School of Social Work. This winter assignment covers discussion groups, paper and exam marking, office hours, and exam proctoring. Assistants must meet supervisor deadlines and attend lectures when requested.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate discussion groups for course students
Mark papers and examinations according to expectations
Hold office hours to meet with students
Proctor examinations as assigned
Attend lectures when requested by the supervisor
Requirements:
Hold a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or equivalent
Meet the language requirement for the course
Meet deadlines established by the supervising professor
Be available to work physically on campus
Check schedules for potential course attendance conflicts
Apply your Social Sciences background to discussion groups, marking, student meetings, and proctoring for GRT 2102.
