• Prepare accurate purchase requests according to department needs (items, quantities and specifications).
• Maintain rigorous records of purchases and contracts to facilitate tracking and audits.
• Support price negotiations and contractual terms with suppliers.
• Monitor delivery of goods to ensure on-time receipt and resolve delays.
• Collaborate with the warehouse/store to monitor stock levels and prevent shortages or surpluses.
• Track tools sent for calibration according to established procedures.
• Provide regular reports on purchasing activities, budget compliance and supplier performance.
