Join Celero Communications as an Optical Communication DSP Engineer. Contribute your expertise in DSP algorithms while working from our Ottawa or Vancouver offices on cutting-edge projects.
In this role, you will develop and optimize digital signal processing algorithms for our optical transceivers. You’ll create simulation models to evaluate performance under various channel conditions while collaborating with ASIC and firmware teams. Your insights will help propel our advanced optical technologies to new heights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and evaluate DSP algorithms for optical systems
• Optimize DSP blocks including polarization demultiplexing
• Develop comprehensive system-level simulation models
• Analyze performance under noise and chromatic dispersion
• Document designs and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
Requirements:
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or similar
• At least two years in a DSP-related role
• Strong foundation in digital communications and optics
• Proficiency in MATLAB, C/C++, or Python
• Familiarity with Verilog or VHDL is a plus
