Position: NAV CANADA AIM IFP Designer
Become an AIM IFP Designer at NAV CANADA, a hybrid position that focuses on the design and maintenance of Instrument Flight Procedures. Ideal for individuals with solid IFR experience, enhancing aviation safety.

NAV CANADA has three AIM IFP Designer roles available in this hybrid work environment.

Your role will be pivotal in developing and reviewing Instrument Flight Procedures, ensuring they meet rigorous safety and regulatory standards. Utilize your knowledge of ICAO practices and communication abilities to effectively assess and update flight procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and verify procedures in accordance with established criteria

• Analyze aeronautical data changes impacting flight procedures

• Manage the NOTAM process in a timely manner

• Coordinate with teams for publication and procedural updates

• Handle overlapping priorities and deadlines

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary education or equivalent

• Experience in IFR and VFR planning

• Familiarity with ICAO standards and the Canadian NOTAM system

• Strong mathematical skills in Geometry and Statistics

• Excellent communication and detail-oriented approach
