Position: Electrician for Solar and BESS Systems
Join Sungrow North America as an Electrician for Solar and BESS Systems. Based in Ottawa, ON, this hybrid role supports installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of photovoltaic inverters and battery energy storage systems.

You will work closely with the regional field service supervisor to conduct commissioning and warranty actions while ensuring compliance with safety protocols. With a primary focus on performance and efficiency of solar installations, you will demonstrate your technical skills in troubleshooting and maintaining systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with solar inverter systems and a commitment to safety and quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation and maintenance of solar inverters and BESS systems

• Troubleshoot and diagnose under established guidelines

• Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities

• Conduct preventive maintenance and long-term service tasks

• Investigate solar plant issues regarding performance and safety

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science

• 2+ years in solar inverters or BESS

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• OSHA and NFPA certifications required

• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
