Valero Energy Inc. is looking for a Technician Operations to report to the Operations Supervisor. This role encompasses critical operational phases for handling petroleum shipments. You'll be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance while monitoring marine operations. Your duties involve preparing maintenance work and conducting checks on equipment. Uphold safety standards and maximize energy usage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor petroleum transfer and shipping processes

• Conduct equipment inspections onsite for operational readiness

• Ensure proper drainage during marine operations

• Witness external manual dips and collect product samples

• Maximize adherence to safety and environmental protocols

Requirements:

• College degree in chemical or industrial processes

• Experience with technical machinery or welding

• Flexibility for twelve-hour rotating shift work

• Ability to prioritize and manage emergencies
