By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to develop training operations models and simulations representing training enterprises. Based on these models you will develop applications or tools allowing to rapidly quantify and assess a training solution. You will be working within a highly experienced training system and solution team to support the team in defining training solutions and optimize them to respond to customer requirements and resources constraints.
Are you ready to:
Acquire a knowledge of training methods and technologies and learn about training delivery operations and aircraft operations in a training context.
Develop systems models and mathematical models
Program simulation and application using Rockwell ARENA process modeling and simulation tool suite.
Generate descriptive reports of training operation
Support Integrated Solution Leads and Instruction System Designers in analyzing and costing of training solutions for specific future programs.
Our ideal candidate has:
Academic knowledge in system modelling, operational modeling/research and process engineering as typically used in industrial engineering or process engineering in services enterprises.
Skills in mathematical analysis and simulation using computer tools
Programming skills
Presentation skills
Communication skills in multi-disciplinary environment
Rockwell ARENA modeling and simulation programming – an asset
Experience in discrete simulation – an asset
Bilingual (French & English) – an asset
Preferred Education
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in industrial engineering or operations management.
Location of the internship is Montréal.
Internship will be carried out in hybrid mode.
* All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.
