As a Technical Expert within the Product Integration (Research & Technology Aircraft System Architecture) team, you will lead the definition and optimization of aircraft‑level architecture for autonomy and advanced flight management systems. Your role will focus on enabling next‑generation operational capabilities through innovative system design and integration. You will drive the development of advanced architectures that incorporate emerging technologies to support future Bombardier products, including more autonomous manned aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
You will spearhead Research & Technology initiatives to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, enhance architecture exploration capabilities, and pilot advanced solutions that shape the future of Bombardier products. Your leadership will directly influence how future aircraft architectures are conceived, analyzed, and matured from early trade studies through program launch.
What are your contributions to the team?- Define and optimize aircraft‑level architecture for autonomy and advanced flight management systems.
- Lead the integration of emerging technologies to enable next‑generation operational capabilities.

- You hold Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Avionics, Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. Formal training in Systems Engineering is an asset.
- Be eligible for Canadian Controlled Goods security clearance.
- You have 10+ years of experience in aircraft or complex‑system development and certification, including systems engineering, conceptual design, architecture definition, and requirements‑based verification. Strong knowledge of ARP

4761 is essential. - Demonstrate expertise in software development and certification processes (e.g., DO‑178) and verification practices.
- Have experience developing simulation solutions for Guidance, Navigation, and Control algorithms.

- Show curiosity and openness to exploring new technologies and architectures for autonomy and UAV systems.
