A Snapshot of Your Day

You will be part of either the Core Engineering or Manufacturing organizations who design, manufacture, repair and test aeroderivative gas turbines at our Montreal center of excellence. During your internship you will contribute to multiple engineering teams within the research & development, fleet support, production operations, project management, supply chain and business support functions to gain a wide range of experiences.

Within each placement, working in multi-disciplinary teams, you will help to develop solutions to a wide range of gas turbine problems leveraging aerospace and industrial best practice, experts and proprietary tools and methods.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Study customer and business needs, existing solutions, and best practice guidance to support decision-making on problem-solving approaches
  • Identify opportunities to build prior knowledge when developing solutions
  • Assist in understanding and quantifying project and technical risks
  • Contribute to delivering internal and external milestones in support of customer requirements
  • What You Bring

  • Recent graduate with a bachelor's or master’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical or control systems engineering, operations management, or project management.
  • You want to explore opportunities within engineering and develop breadth while simultaneously solving real-world problems.
  • Have an inquisitive nature and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
  • Motivated by contributing to multi-disciplinary teams and the development of innovative solutions.
  • You have an interest in gas turbine technology and working to develop it to remain a useful technology throughout the energy transition.
