Essential Functions- Participate in the implementation of engineering projects and services related to Electrical/Avionics (control, navigation, communication, antenna, energy and electrical circuits) and electrical wiring for military and commercial aircraft.
- Apply knowledge of embedded systems and Electrical/Avionics for aerospace (define, design, develop, simulate, test, validate/verify).
- Ensure alignment between established technical requirements and proposed engineering solutions.
- Ensure technical compliance of products and services in accordance with internal and external customer needs.
- Apply aeronautical regulations, standards, and procedures (FAR, CAR, JAR, RAC, TAM, etc.) to support a certification file.
- Participate in technical reviews and problem‑solving activities.
- Prepare analysis and technical reports.
- Perform electrical load analysis.
- Analyze or modify circuit diagrams and electrical cables.
- Prepare or modify electrical schematic drawings using CAD/CAM tools and/or CAD tools, following company and customer standards.
- Support technical activities and the customer during prototype production.
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Avionics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent (required).
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with computer‑aided drawing systems, knowledge of CATIA V5 (asset).
- Knowledge of ARINC 429, MIL‑STD‑1553, ARINC 739, DO‑178, DO‑254, ARP
4754, AS9100, MIL‑STD‑810, DO‑160, etc. (asset). - Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Honest, passionate, autonomous and team player.
- Results‑oriented with ability to balance professional commitments and personal obligations.
- Experience in quality aspects and verification of electrical diagrams (asset).
- Essential spoken and written bilingualism (English and French).
- Eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Canada government “Reliability” status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance.
- Eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
