In this senior position, you will lead a team of engineers while ensuring adherence to project standards and Ontario Building Code compliance. With at least six years of experience, you’ll provide expertise in structural analysis and design, enhancing project outcomes through effective team management and communication.
Your role includes direct involvement in project delivery and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee structural engineering teams
• Design various structural systems per OBC and standards
• Mentor junior staff and manage their work assignments
• Conduct condition assessments and on-site inspections
• Provide technical input during proposals and tendering
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Six years of experience in structural engineering
• Registered P.Eng. in Ontario
• Familiarity with structural analysis software
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
