Experienced Building Cost Estimator

Join the Building Division as an Experienced Cost Estimator, focusing on accurate project bids and fostering strong subcontractor relationships. Leverage your technical skills in a dynamic environment.

In this role as a Building Estimator, your expertise will guide the preparation of high-quality cost estimates. You will review project specifications and drawings, generate comprehensive tender price schedules, and support our construction endeavors with precise calculations. Strong communication skills are essential for successful collaboration with owners and subcontractors while managing all aspects associated with bids.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and review plans and specifications for accuracy

• Develop detailed time schedules and tender pricing

• Attend all required site visits and meetings

• Communicate effectively with subcontractors for pricing

• Provide accurate total bid amounts to the Chief Estimator

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field

• Minimum of 10 years of estimating experience required

• Proficiency in industry tools like MS Project and Excel

• Ability to read technical specifications clearly

• Bilingual capabilities preferred
