Join GDI Ainsworth as a Lead BAS Technician in Ottawa, driving successful BAS installations and project completions. Elevate your skills in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
As a Lead BAS Technician, you'll report to the BAS Project Manager and lead onsite installation, commissioning, and startup activities. Your expertise will be crucial in executing project scopes according to established specifications. You will also coordinate seamlessly with project managers and subcontractors while proactively addressing constructability issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee BAS installation and startup activities
• Ensure project execution aligns with plans and schedules
• Liaise with engineers and subcontractors daily
• Communicate constructability issues and solutions effectively
• Assist in project closeout, verification, and customer turnover
Requirements:
• 7+ years of progressive BAS experience
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and control strategies
• Experience with Schneider Electric Eco Struxure Building Operation
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Security screening clearance as per Ainsworth's requirements
