As a Senior Geochemist in WSP’s Resources sector, you will guide multidisciplinary teams in Canada and internationally.
Your role involves delivering top-tier geochemical projects while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Additionally, you will design field programs, analyze data, and supervise junior staff, fostering their development in this critical area of mining.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead project scopes, schedules, and budgets for geochemistry
• Oversee project plans and technical deliverables
• Design and supervise field programs for geochemical characterization
• Analyze, interpret, and quality-control geochemical data
• Mentor junior professionals in technical skills
Requirements:
• Degree in geochemistry or earth sciences
• Over 10 years in environmental geochemistry
• Expertise in acid mine drainage and metal leaching
• Experience with geochemical modeling software
• Strong communication and mentorship abilities
