Position: Ciena DSP ASIC Co-op Position
Ciena is looking for a motivated DSP ASIC Co-op to contribute to innovative designs and verification workflows. Enhance your skills in a flexible, empowering environment.

This 4-month opportunity will suit those pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. You’ll work closely with our DSP ASIC development team, engaging in both design assistance and verification tasks.

Your role will involve module coding and the application of digital logic fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in module coding and optimization tasks

• Perform functional testing for design verification

• Develop scripts to enhance team workflows

• Contribute to coding for design environments

• Collaborate with architects and engineers in the development process

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in progress in relevant engineering field

• Basic knowledge of digital logic and circuit design

• Experience with OOP coding in C++, Python, or equivalent

• Familiarity with Verilog/System Verilog is an asset

• Coding experience in DSP environments is preferred
