Job Description
Python engineer to work on a new requirement for database infrastructure maintenance and development. The role will require a self-sufficient individual, capable of working in a complex environment building new functionality and maintaining existing infrastructure required to support the environment. Responsibilities:The role will be for a database infrastructure developer / engineer. The candidate will be working on various database related infrastructure / automation projects that will require the development or maintenance of modules/scripts using python and ksh.
The candidate will be responsible for development unit level testing and integration testing. We are looking for a result driven individual who is able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
The candidate should have a strong track record of delivering projects on time.
Skills Required:
– 2-5 years of experience
– Understanding scripting is a core requirement.
– Strong Python scripting
– Experience of revision control systems.
– Strong Unix shell scripting (in particular Korn Shell)
– Good database knowledge
– Knowledge of Perl is a plus
