As a member of the Bombardier Product Strategy team you will be a product expert dedicated to providing world‑class analysis and recommendations that directly influence aircraft configurations, feature roadmaps, and future program directions across all Business Aircraft platforms.
Contributions to the Team- Define and own the overall product portfolio strategy for Bombardieru
2019s business aircraft lineup. - Translate customer needs and market insights into clear, actionable requirements for current and future aircraft programs.
- Validate new aircraft designs and configurations against defined requirements, recommending enhancements to maximize market appeal and competitiveness.
- Support aircraft development trade studies, ensuring optimal configuration choices aligned with business objectives and customer expectations.
- Perform detailed aircraft systems analysis to identify and articulate Bombardieru
2019s key product differentiators.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert for selected aircraft systems, capabilities, and emerging technologies.
- Define and drive product enhancements across key aircraft systems (avionics, cabin interiors, connectivity, and performance).
- Collaborate with engineering disciplines, industrial design teams, and strategic partners to develop and execute technology and product roadmaps.
- Support development and implementation of company‑wide go‑to‑market strategies to maximize customer impact and commercial success.
- Provide in‑depth technical and competitive insights on Bombardier and competitor products to support New Program Development, Sales and Marketing initiatives.
- Lead and participate in customer feedback activities, including focus groups, trade shows, surveys, and direct engagements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global Sales teams, flight crews and flight attendants.
- Engage directly with customers—including aircraft visits and flight experiences—to develop a deep, first‑hand understanding of customer expectations and usage scenarios.
- Hold an engineering degree with 5 years relevant work experience.
- Have prior experience in marketing, product strategy or market analysis; a business degree is a robust asset.
- Maintain a passion for the aviation industry, particularly business aircraft.
- Possess a robust technical understanding of aircraft performance, avionics, cabin interiors, and various other aircraft systems.
- Manage initiatives of a technical, financial, marketing and general business nature.
- Influence and work with little formal authority.
- Have acute critical and strategic thinking, and a taste for in‑depth analysis.
- Display an entrepreneurial spirit that constantly challenges the status quo.
- Summarize multifaceted situations concisely, emphasizing the significant elements and takeaways.
- Be dedicated to 100% quality.
- Have strong oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
