- Be involved in the entire development and design process.
- Translate 2D drawings and concepts into 3D models, assemblies and kinematics.
- Develop cabinet, mechanism and system components from concept to final prototype.
- Participate in the development of drawings and technical specifications for prototypes.
- Integrate and/or generate ergonomic and mechanical assemblies.
- Possess knowledge of the specifications, design, and integration of aircraft interior systems.
- Improve prototype concepts through iteration, testing and design review.
- Provide solutions and resolve complex problems using manufacturing and prototyping techniques.
- Conduct studies, analyses and calculations to guide design technicians and project directors using general and specific technical parameters.
- Work on the development, design and testing of various mechanical systems.
- Help demonstrate the feasibility of concepts through presentation.
- You have a technical diploma in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
- You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in the field of mechanical design.
- You have great motivation to take on challenges and great determination to achieve results, bringing strong technical skills, an understanding of manufacturing processes and a good problem‑solving approach.
- You possess creativity aligned with Bombardier’s philosophy of design and innovation: highly innovative, functional and visually stunning to exceed customer expectations.
- Knowledge of Catia, NX and Rhino design software is an asset.
- You are recognized for ingenuity, versatility and agility.
- You are flexible and creative to implement and protect the long‑term vision of design and innovation.
- You are an excellent collaborator and team player.
- You are bilingual in French and English (asset).
