Lean Manufacturing Engineer - Automotive

Location: Drummondville

Join a dynamic automotive manufacturing team as a Lean Manufacturing Engineer. Focused on process improvement, this role integrates engineering principles with hands-on problem solving.

In this role, you will utilize your 3-5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment to optimize processes and enhance efficiency. By actively engaging in APQP and utilizing tools such as PFMEA and mistake-proofing, you will ensure that operations run smoothly. Collaborating with other departments, you will also help implement changes to improve manufacturing workflows and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute solutions to improve plant process flows

• Perform capacity and feasibility studies for new equipment

• Develop and maintain BOMs and process routing data

• Conduct Layered Process and Standard Work Audits

• Source tools and oversee equipment specification processes

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing

• Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and quality management

• Proficiency in CAD and knowledge of process optimization

• Experience with measuring devices and automation principles
