JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for someone to join the business development team as a technical representative. Reporting to the Vice-President of Applications, the Technical Representative will be responsible for raising the profile of C2MI in Canada and globally, promoting the technical activities carried out there, and approaching clients to bring development and prototyping projects to C2MI, whilst supporting the company’s existing clients in their activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To present and promote C2MI’s services, with the aim of expanding its client base within the industrial sector across all areas of the company’s business;
- Present and promote C2MI’s services within the client organisations assigned to them or within related organisations, with the aim of increasing the number of projects brought to C2MI by existing clients;
- Support clients’ development projects and participate in discussions with the technical team;
- Attend and represent C2MI at industry technical conferences to raise awareness of C2MI’s offering;
- Monitor developments and keep abreast of the latest advances in the fields of electronics, microelectronics and quantum technology, as well as new players who could become C2MI’s industrial clients;
- Work alongside the team to improve or adapt C2MI’s offering with a view to attracting a wider pool of potential industrial clients;
- Take part in regular business progress reviews.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in science (physics or chemistry) or engineering (electrical, mechanical, chemical or physical);
- Required experience:
a minimum of 5 years in the field of microelectronics; - Knowledge of disciplines relevant to the company’s activities, as well as an understanding of the market and key players in microelectronics and quantum technology;
- Ability to identify decision-makers within organisations;
- Strong negotiation, communication and teamwork skills;
- Understanding of the company’s resources, priorities, policies and needs;
- Assistance in developing company strategies and resolving technical or operational issues.
