Technical Pilot and Safety Officer

Location: Dorval

Contribute to Air Inuit's safety culture as a Technical Pilot and Safety Officer in Ville St-Laurent. Drive operational excellence and enhance critical training programs in a dynamic aviation environment.

In this role, reporting to the Director of Flight Operations, you will oversee safety management systems and lead the integration of new aircraft. Your expertise will support the development of training initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance. With a focus on continuous improvement, collaborate with teams to optimize operational manuals and maintain high industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Safety Management System and continuous improvement culture

• Develop and enhance training programs for long-term effectiveness

• Collaborate on operational manual development and reviews

• Assist in integrating new aircraft and conducting regulatory assessments

• Share industry best practices with flight crews

Requirements:

• Experience as Pilot-in-Command on ATR 72 or Q400

• Training pilot experience is an asset

• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations

• Bilingual in French and English;
Inuktitut is an asset

• College diploma or equivalent
