Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a global leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to manufacturing major components of landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state‑of‑the‑art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.

Missions
  • Lead the industrialization process and product manufacturability with the required robustness while respecting technical specifications and cost/quality/delivery/SSE objectives
  • Oversee the realization, implementation of all production means, and their validation (PVI‑PPAP)
  • Manage modification and optimization processes of the manufacturing chain
  • Lead industrial investment projects.
Main Tasks And Responsibilities
  • Animate the multidisciplinary team assigned to the industrialization project to meet the program requirements outlined during the industrialization mandate of the project following the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process
  • Participate as needed in co‑engineering and ensure Product/Process consistency by challenging the definition and range to be compatible with the Quality/Cost/Delivery objectives of the mandate (DEV and MAN processes)
  • Lead the multidisciplinary team to implement an industrial investment project
  • Capitalize, standardize, share, and transmit your skills
  • Participate in various meetings
Requirements Let's talk about you
  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, or materials engineering.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in project management
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes in aerospace (machining, inspection, special processes, assembly)
  • Knowledge of CAD software Catia V5, Smarteam, Delmia V6, and PDM
  • Mastery of methodological tools such as FMEA
  • Economic knowledge (investment profitability calculation, cost evaluation, target cost design)
  • Knowledge of problem‑solving tools (5P, 8D, …)
  • Time and priority management
