Job Description Do you have significant experience in industrial engineering or equivalent, have you worked in the manufacturing or aerospace sector, and are you looking to grow and develop new skills? This position is for you! The A220 commercial aircraft program is seeking a Process and Performance Engineer to join our team within the Operational Excellence, Manufacturing Engineering department based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work on optimizing the industrial performance of the A220.
You will be part of the Process and Performance Engineer team responsible for continuous improvement and operational efficiency. The team leads the Improvement Roadmap and monitors transverse industrial performance (hazards, efficiency, CVAT, rate readiness, etc.). The team is organized to promote autonomous cross‑functional collaboration, supporting each other and learning collectively. Your role as a Process and Performance Engineer will be to lead performance analysis, line balancing (SLB), and improvement roadmaps to optimize series production.

- Evaluate and optimize transverse industrial performance using key indicators (e.g., efficiency, production rate, cycle time, etc.).
- Design and maintain Standard Line Balancing (SLB) for all production configurations.
- Generate and publish the final balancing for each aircraft in production.
- Perform root cause analyses (e.g., Pareto) for hazards and bottlenecks.
- Propose concrete and measurable action plans to improve process efficiency.
- Document and manage operational constraints per workstation to optimize planning.
- Lead the improvement roadmap and REX (Return of Experience) initiatives with the Manufacturing Engineering MFT team.
- Ensure the link with upstream and downstream workstations and be the point of contact with the EAP (Autonomous Production Team).
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Solid professional experience in an industrial environment, preferably manufacturing or aerospace (minimum of 3 to 5 years required).
- Proficiency in industrial performance concepts, time analysis, and line balancing (SLB).
- Demonstrated expertise in production flow modeling (PERT) and root cause analysis methods (Pareto).
- Rigour, proactivity, and strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Ability to work independently and interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams (production, quality, finance, methods, engineering).
- Proficiency in French and English.
