In this position, Aerospace Canada is seeking an experienced Thermodynamics Engineer with 8 to 12 years in the field. Your focus will be on performing complex thermodynamic and heat transfer analyses, ensuring that findings align with aircraft design requirements. You will also take charge of preparing and managing test plans while documenting crucial ground and flight test results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute detailed analyses on heat transfer and thermodynamic principles

• Contextualize findings within aircraft design parameters

• Develop and supervise comprehensive test plans

• Record and interpret test results for both ground and flight

• Revise and compose engineering practice documents

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering

• Experience of 8 to 12 years in thermodynamics

• Strong MS Office skills, particularly with Excel

• Familiarity with programming languages like Fortran, C++, Python

• Availability for short travel assignments
