In this role, you will lead the preparation of comprehensive roadway design drawings while coordinating effectively with multi-disciplinary teams. You'll ensure adherence to Ontario transportation guidelines and deliver quality outcomes on utility design projects. Additionally, providing mentorship to junior staff and managing project schedules will be essential to your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee detailed roadway and municipal design drawing development
• Liaise with project teams, clients, and regulatory bodies
• Conduct geometric roadway design and prepare specifications
• Perform quality checks on drawings for compliance
• Assist with project coordination and mentorship
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or Technical Diploma in relevant fields
• 6 to 10 years of relevant design experience
• Familiarity with Ontario municipal infrastructure projects
• Strong software skills in Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Excellent communication and project management abilities
