Service Stress Engineer

Position: In-Service Stress Engineer at Bombardier

Join Bombardier's Aerospace Canada team as an In-Service Stress Engineer. This role focuses on stress analyses and repair solutions for high-performance aircraft like Challenger and Global.

In this position, you will leverage a strong background in mechanical or aerospace engineering, boasting over 10 years of aerospace experience. You'll conduct stress analyses, including static strength and damage tolerance, while collaborating across different disciplines for effective repair solutions. Your engineering judgment and customer-oriented mindset will play key roles in compliance and innovation within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support stress in-service repair activities across aircraft

• Perform static strength and finite element modeling analyses

• Prepare compliance-focused stress reports and analyses

• Review engineering drawings for repair solutions

• Ensure compliance with certification and airworthiness standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

• 10+ years relevant aerospace industry experience

• Experience in Aircraft Structural analysis

• Proficient in Patran/Nastran, CATIA V5

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
