Process and Performance Engineer

Join the A220 commercial aircraft program as a Process and Performance Engineer within the Operational Excellence, Manufacturing Engineering department based in Mirabel, Quebec. In this role you will lead the performance analysis, line balancing (SLB) and improvement roadmaps to optimize series production and drive continuous improvement across the production line.

Responsabilités
  • Evaluate and optimize transverse industrial performance using key indicators such as efficiency, production rate, cycle time, etc.
  • Design and maintain Standard Line Balancing (SLB) for all production configurations.
  • Generate and publish final line balancing for each aircraft in production.
  • Perform root‑cause analyses (e.g., Pareto) for hazards and bottlenecks.
  • Propose concrete and measurable action plans to improve process efficiency.
  • Document and manage operational constraints per workstation to optimize planning.
  • Lead the improvement roadmap and REX (Return of Experience) initiatives with the Manufacturing Engineering MFT team.
  • Coordinate with upstream and downstream workstations and serve as the point of contact with the Autonomous Production Team (EAP).
Profil
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in an industrial, manufacturing or aerospace environment.
  • Proficient in industrial performance concepts, time analysis and line balancing (SLB).
  • Demonstrated expertise in production flow modeling (PERT) and root‑cause analysis methods (Pareto).
  • Strong analytical, synthesis and proactive mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams (production, quality, finance, methods, engineering).
  • Fluent in French and English.
