Drive excellence in stress analysis at Bombardier as a Senior Aerospace Engineer. This role involves critical evaluations for repairs on esteemed aircraft like the Challenger and Global.
As part of the Aerospace Canada team, you will address in-service stress repairs with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the aerospace sector. Your expertise in structural substantiation will be essential, performing analyses such as fatigue/durability and damage tolerance. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you'll ensure airworthiness compliance through thorough stress evaluations and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct stress analyses for in-service repairs on aircraft
• Develop and review stress reports for compliance
• Collaborate with engineering teams for repair solutions
• Perform calculations to evaluate design solutions
• Ensure that repairs adhere to aviation standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years in aerospace engineering
• Expertise in static strength and structural analysis
• Experience with Patran/Nastran, CATIA V5
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
