Senior Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer

Join Bombardier as a Senior Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer in a hybrid role based in Toronto or Montreal. Lead the fight against electromagnetic interference affecting aircraft safety.

In this multifaceted position, you will report to the Engineering EMC Section Chief. With a minimum of eight years of experience in aerospace systems EMC certification, you'll drive resolutions for EMI, HIRF, LIRF, and Lightning challenges while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your expertise will guide junior team members and support various Bombardier products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute complex EMI and environmental engineering assignments

• Drive EMC certification resolutions for production services

• Define scope and plan engineering project activities

• Analyze system designs for EMC compliance impacts

• Prepare Certification Design Compliance Reports

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Minimum eight years of aerospace EMC qualification experience

• In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations

• Proven experience in major project reviews

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
