Sila, a leader in next-generation battery materials, is looking for a Lead Electrode Engineer with a passion for R&D. This position involves investigating the performance of active materials, binders, and conductive additives in lithium-ion batteries.
Your role will encompass the entire spectrum of electrode design, from development and qualification to scaling production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate performance factors of Li-ion battery materials
• Lead electrode design, development, and qualification
• Apply statistical methods for data analysis
• Communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders
• Identify and implement safety improvements
Requirements:
• B.S. in engineering/science plus 4+ years in batteries
• Experience with lithium-ion battery processes
• Proficiency in data analysis tools like Python
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication abilities, with language fluency a plus
