CONTRACT Professional, Engineering - Thermodynamics

• Perform complex analyses of heat transfer, pipe network flow, thermodynamics or aircraft icing.
• Understand and frame the results within the context of the design and right sizing of an aircraft.
• Prepare test plans.
• Document analysis, ground and flight test results.
• Write and update engineering practice documents.

• Bachelor's in mechanical or aerospace engineering (including courses or projects in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, in‑flight icing and/or CFD analyses).
• Master's degree is an asset.
• Minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience in the thermodynamics and icing engineering field.
• Self‑motivated and innovative team player.
• Good knowledge of MS Office software (advanced level for Excel).
• Knowledge of Siemens Flomaster is an asset.
• Familiarity with programming (Unix operating system and programming languages such as Fortran 77/95, Visual Basic, C++/C#; Python is an asset).
• Good interpersonal skills as well as good written and oral communication skills.
• Willing to travel for short‑term assignments.
