Position: Contract Engineering Projects CAD Specialist
Location: Dorval

Drive innovation in aircraft design as a Contract Engineering Projects CAD Specialist with Bombardier. This role leverages expertise in Siemens NX and PLM to enhance CAD workflows.

Your responsibilities will include defining CAD standards, developing workflows, and mentoring engineering teams. With a background of at least five years in CAD software, you’ll collaborate closely with designers and manufacturing staff to ensure compliance with engineering standards. Strong communication skills will aid in training others and promoting the efficient use of Teamcenter PLM systems across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define best practices and document CAD standards

• Manage workflows for CAD data within PLM systems

• Review CAD models for standard compliance

• Conduct mentoring sessions on CAD usage

• Facilitate collaboration across engineering departments

Requirements:

• Engineering degree with 5+ years of experience

• Strong proficiency in NX and CATIA V5 software

• Knowledge of GD&T/PMI and engineering standards

• Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities

• Knowledge of aircraft development and Bombardier systems preferred
