Electromagnetic Compatibility Senior Engineer

Location: Dorval

Become a pivotal part of Bombardier as a Senior Engineer specializing in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC).

Your role will focus on ensuring aircraft safety against electromagnetic threats.

Reporting directly to the Engineering EMC Section Chief, this dynamic position includes leading engineering initiatives on EMI, Lightning, and HIRF. You will engage in complex analyses, oversee compliance documentation, and drive knowledge initiatives while mentoring junior staff. Your contributions will support all Bombardier products, ensuring they meet rigorous safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complex EMC engineering tasks and analyses

• Oversee EMC certification processes and issue resolutions

• Define project scopes, milestones, and technical risks

• Analyze new designs for EMC impacts and compliance

• Support R&D collaboration to resolve Electromagnetic issues

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics

• At least 8 years of EMC experience

• 4 years in aerospace EMC qualification tasks

• Familiarity with industry standards and airworthiness regulations

• Strong leadership and communication abilities
