Job Description:

  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals with accuracy and precision.
  • Conduct continuity, insulation resistance, and functional testing on wiring harness assemblies.
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements (FAA, IPC/WHMA, MIL‑STD, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair discrepancies or defects in wiring harnesses and assemblies.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed production, testing, and inspection documentation.
  • Adhere to ESD, FOD, and all applicable safety procedures at all times.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to resolve technical issues and support ongoing development efforts.
  • Assist with developing, refining, and improving assembly and testing processes to enhance consistency, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Provide hands‑on technical support during flight‑test operations, both in‑house and at remote flight‑test locations.

    What are the Mandatory skills and skill proficiencies required for this position?
  • Minimum of years of experience in the aircraft industry, specifically involving avionics, electronics, and electrical harness assembly.
  • Hands-on background in mechanical and electrical assembly, including system integration and testing activities related to aircraft construction, maintenance, and operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
  • Skilled in using test and measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, analog/digital scales, load cells, and similar equipment.
  • Proficient in aerospace‑standard crimping, soldering, and wire termination techniques.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities, particularly in hardware validation and system-level testing.
  • Understanding of quality control and assurance practices within manufacturing, especially aerospace-focused environments.
  • Energetic, proactive, and prepared to support ongoing flight‑test operations within fast-paced and time-sensitive schedules.
