Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Contracts Manager to oversee mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering contracts within our operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and be capable of conducting on-site audits of contractors to ensure compliance with contractual terms, safety standards, and budget constraints.
What you’re responsible for:
Manage the full lifecycle of contracts related to equipment installation, facility upgrades and infrastructure maintenanceConduct on-site audits to verify contractor compliance with contractual obligations, timesheets, cost tracking and safety standardsPrepare and present detailed audit reports including findings, risk assessments and recommendationsCollaborate with Engineering, Maintenance and Procurement teams to ensure contracts align with operational objectivesTrack contractor performance, project milestones and budget adherenceEnsure all contracts comply with industry standards, local regulations and internal policiesSupport resolution of disputes, claims and contract amendmentsQualifications
To join our team:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related technical field5 to 7 years of experience in contract management in an industrial, manufacturing or recycling environmentStrong knowledge of metal recycling equipment: shredders, shears, balers, eddy current separators and conveyor systemsProven experience in field audits including timesheet verification and cost trackingGood knowledge of environmental and safety regulations applicable to industrial operationsExcellent negotiation, communication and analytical skillsProficiency in contract management tools and Microsoft Office SuiteBilingualism French/English required (French preferred)Availability to travel to operational sites as neededExperience in scrap processing or industrial recycling facilities (asset)Contract management certification — CCMP, MRICS, PMP or equivalent (asset)Additional Information
