Your challenges:
- Perform damage tolerance analyses on primary structural elements (PSE)
- Make recommendations on design concepts and repair of aircraft structures
- Develop fatigue spectra
- Perform validations of damage tolerance analyses with experimental results
- Support the development of the maintenance manual in collaboration with the technical publications and maintenance engineering groups.
- Collaborate with suppliers, ensure compliance with the program's methodology and technical requirements
- Review supplier reports and analyses
- Prepare certification reports
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
- You have at least five (5) years of experience in stress analysis of
- metallic aircraft structures, primarily as a specialist in airframe fatigue and damage tolerance
- Knowledge of software such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, NASGRO, CATIA V5, MS Office and Google Suite is mandatory
- Previous experience working on an aircraft development or in-service support program, including certification, would be an asset.
- Knowledge of non-destructive inspection (NDT) techniques would be an asset
- You have a strong sense of responsibility, integrity and are a team player
- You have good communication skills
- You must be able to read and communicate in French and English
