Job description

Your challenges:

  • Perform damage tolerance analyses on primary structural elements (PSE)
  • Make recommendations on design concepts and repair of aircraft structures
  • Develop fatigue spectra
  • Perform validations of damage tolerance analyses with experimental results
  • Support the development of the maintenance manual in collaboration with the technical publications and maintenance engineering groups.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, ensure compliance with the program's methodology and technical requirements
  • Review supplier reports and analyses
  • Prepare certification reports
Your profile:
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
  • You have at least five (5) years of experience in stress analysis of
  • metallic aircraft structures, primarily as a specialist in airframe fatigue and damage tolerance
  • Knowledge of software such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, NASGRO, CATIA V5, MS Office and Google Suite is mandatory
  • Previous experience working on an aircraft development or in-service support program, including certification, would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of non-destructive inspection (NDT) techniques would be an asset
  • You have a strong sense of responsibility, integrity and are a team player
  • You have good communication skills
  • You must be able to read and communicate in French and English
