Aerospace Project Management Engineer Role

Location: Mirabel

Pursue a dynamic career as a Project Management Engineer with Safran Landing Systems in Mirabel, Quebec. Lead industrial projects that contribute significantly to aerospace manufacturing.

This full-time, 11-month fixed-term contract focuses on managing the industrialization of landing gear components for major aircraft. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with production standards, and drive optimizations in manufacturing processes. Your expertise in mechanical engineering will play a critical role in meeting cost and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead industrialization initiatives for product manufacturability

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and define roles in the project

• Conduct risk management analyses and establish action plans

• Manage industrial equipment investments and validations

• Oversee the production's adherence to set milestones

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in materials, mechanical, or aeronautical engineering

• 1-2 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing

• Proficient in CAD/CAM software, including Catia V5

• Strong understanding of FMEA and project management tools

• Bilingual in French and English to liaise effectively
