Position: Electrical Ground Support Engineer Role

Become a vital part of MDA Space as an Electrical Ground Support Engineer, based in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. Lead the efforts in designing critical test equipment for satellite operations.

This 12-month contract role requires a seasoned engineer with at least five years of experience in the electronics industry. You'll play a key role in the development and qualification of satellite Electronic Ground Support Equipment (EGSE), collaborating across teams to ensure project alignment and adherence to standards. Strong organizational skills and technical expertise will be essential in achieving project milestones and meeting customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop test equipment for satellite electronics

• Coordinate and monitor EGSE activity among teams

• Interface with management for resource procurement

• Participate in technical reviews and enforce corrective actions

• Conduct risk analysis for project evaluation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent

• 5+ years in electronics design or related fields

• Hands-on experience in electronics test equipment

• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills

• Experience leading design efforts in a team setting
